Knife-Wielding Thug Robs Man on Bedhampton Way

A man was attacked and robbed in a brazen knife incident on Bedhampton Way near Colemore Square last Friday night.

The Shocking Attack

Between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on 30 October, the victim was walking along Bedhampton Way when a stranger approached from behind. The attacker brandished a knife, threatened the man, then assaulted him before snatching his wallet.

The victim suffered a small cut to his neck and bruises to his face.

Police Hunt Knife-Wielding Suspect

The suspect is described as:

  • White male, 18-20 years old
  • About 5ft 7in tall
  • Slim build
  • Wearing a black hooded top and black face mask
  • Speaking with a London accent

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Police are appealing to anyone who was near Bedhampton Way on Friday night to get in touch. Dash cam footage from passing drivers or CCTV from local residents could prove vital.
