Moped Hit Six-Year-Old Boy and Fled the Scene in Sipson Lane

Police were called just after 8pm on Friday, 9 July, following a hit-and-run in Sipson Lane, near the High Street.

A moped, heading towards the High Street, smashed into a six-year-old boy and sped off without stopping.

Child Critical but Stable After Collision

The young boy was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital. He remains in critical but stable condition.

Police Hunt Moped Riders Caught on Camera

Officers released an image of a moped with two riders they want to identify. No arrests have been made yet.

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the probe. They urge any drivers who were in Sipson Lane from 8pm onwards to come forward, especially if they have dashcam footage of the incident.

Witnesses are asked to call SCIU at Alperton Traffic Garage on 020 8246 9820, quoting CAD 7022/09July.
