Puppy Rescued from River But Sadly Dies

Officers rushed to the scene at around 12.39pm on Sunday 21 March, teamed with the London Fire Brigade, after a young pup was found in trouble by the riverbank.

The little dog was pulled to safety and taken to a rescue centre for urgent care. Tragically, it later had to be put down due to serious injuries from the incident.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Owner

Authorities are eager to speak to anyone who saw what happened and are trying to track down the dog’s owner. The RSPCA has also been notified.

Public Help Appreciated

Police praised the members of the public who stepped in to assist Freddie during the emergency. Enquiries are ongoing.
