Shocking Mass Assault Outside Surrey School
At around 2.30pm on Monday, police were called to a brutal group attack on a teenage girl outside Thomas Knyvett College in Ashford, Surrey. Officers found the victim injured following the shocking assault.
Five Arrested, One Still On The Run
Police have arrested five suspects for the savage attack: a 39-year-old woman, a 16-year-old girl, an 11-year-old girl, a 10-year-old girl, and a 43-year-old man. Meanwhile, a 15-year-old girl remains wanted and is believed to be evading capture.
Viral Video Reveals Disturbing Violence
A horrific video of the fight has circulated online, showing a gang viciously kicking and hitting the victim while she lies helpless on the ground. Adult voices can be heard egging on the attackers and directing them on how to cause more harm.
At the end of the melee, strands of the girl’s hair can be seen strewn across the pavement as teachers rush to intervene.
Police Crack Down With Extra Patrols
“I was astounded to see the level of violence displayed by young people outside one of our local schools,” said Inspector Maxine Cilia, Borough Commander for Spelthorne. “Every school child should feel safe in their neighbourhood.”
Inspector Cilia confirmed extra patrols will be stepping up around Thomas Knyvett College in the coming days to reassure students and residents alike.
Surrey Police are urging witnesses and anyone with CCTV, dashcam, or mobile footage from Salcombe Road between 2pm and 3pm on Monday to come forward immediately. They also ask that no videos of the incident be shared on social media to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Community Left Reeling
A Surrey Police spokesperson added, “We understand this incident has caused real concern among students, parents, staff, and the wider community. We are working closely with the school and pursuing all leads.”
