Boy, 6, Seriously Injured After Electric Bike Crash in Parson Cross

South Yorkshire Police are hunting for witnesses after a young boy was hit by an electric mountain bike in Parson Cross. The collision happened just before 10pm on Saturday, June 15, on a footpath along Lindsay Avenue.

Rider Flees Scene Without a Word

The six-year-old suffered life-threatening or life-altering injuries and was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, he has since been discharged. Shockingly, the electric bike rider stopped briefly but then took off without leaving any contact details.

Officers are urging the rider to come forward and help with the investigation. No stone will be left unturned in bringing justice for the injured child.
