Quick Response Cracks Case
Officers arrived at the scene just after 9pm on Wednesday, 19 July, to find a cut padlock on the compound gate – but the gate itself was still shut. A thorough search of the site, backed by the Operational Support team, spotted two figures making a break through a different gate.
The suspects made a run for Fenton Road, but officers on foot quickly caught and detained them nearby.
Stolen Van and Tools Recovered
A deeper search uncovered a van parked with its engine running. Inside the footwell lay an angle grinder. Further checks revealed the van was stolen from South Yorkshire.
