Man Shot in Broad Daylight on Dagenham Street
Police stormed Porters Avenue, Dagenham, at 1.06pm on Wednesday, 5 June, after reports of a shooting. Officers found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
Emergency Crews Rush Victim to Hospital
The London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance raced to the scene. The wounded man was quickly transported to a nearby hospital. Thankfully, doctors have confirmed his injuries are non-life threatening and non-life changing.

“At 13:06hrs on Wednesday, 5 June officers were called to reports of a shooting in Porters Avenue, Dagenham. On arrival they found a man, believed to be aged 22, with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. London Ambulance Service paramedics and the London Air Ambulance attended. The man was taken to hospital where his injuries have been assessed as non-life threatening and non-life changing. An investigation is underway. At this early stage there have been no arrests. The public can expect to see an increased police presence in the immediate area in the coming hours.”
