Man Stabbed Near Reading Kebab Shop in Early Hours of New Year’s Day
Police are hunting witnesses after a man was stabbed in a nasty altercation near the Best Kebab shop on Shinfield Road, Reading, at around 2.30am on New Year’s Day.
Victim Treated and Released
The victim, a man in his twenties, was rushed to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
Police Say Incident Isolated
Local Policing Area Commander Superintendent Nick John said: “At this early stage of the investigation, we believe this to be an isolated incident which led to a man being stabbed as a result of the altercation.”
Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened to come forward and help with inquiries.
