Man in 20s Found with Serious Head Injuries in Rusthall Assault
Police hunt witnesses after a young man was found badly hurt in a suspected assault near Tunbridge Wells.
Victim Discovered on Footpath Near Woodland
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was found confused and distressed on a footpath in Rusthall. This spot lies close to Rusthall Road and the local cricket pitch. A passer-by stumbled upon him on the evening of Thursday, 23 January 2025, between 7pm and 8.30pm.
Hospitalised with Multiple Head Injuries
The victim was rushed to hospital suffering multiple cuts and a brain bleed. While his injuries are serious, cops say they are not thought to be life-threatening. He remains under close medical care.
Police Urge Anyone with Information to Come Forward
Detective Constable Nell Shortis said,
“We believe the victim was assaulted during this time frame and need to piece together what happened. It’s vital anyone who was nearby or saw anything suspicious gets in touch.”
