Deputy Chief Meteorologist Tom Crabtree warns: “Storm Amy will unleash gale-force winds across northern and western Britain, with inland gusts blasting 50-60 mph and some areas hit by terrifying 70-80 mph gusts. Coastal and hilltop spots in the northwest could see even stronger winds.”
