Tragedy Strikes on Blackmore Park Road

A teenage boy has tragically lost his life, and a man is seriously injured after a devastating farm machinery accident in Malvern this Saturday morning. Emergency crews rushed to a rural site off Blackmore Park Road around 8:50am following reports of a serious incident.

Paramedics Struggle to Save Teen

West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived to find the boy in critical condition. Despite frantic efforts by ambulance crews and Midlands Air Ambulance doctors, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man injured in the same incident was treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries before being rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

Police and HSE Launch Investigations

West Mercia Police have launched a full investigation into the accident. The Health and Safety Executive has also been notified and will conduct a separate inquiry.

“Police are currently at the scene of a site near Blackmore Park Road in Malvern after a teenage boy died in an incident involving farm machinery. A second male sustained injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing, and has been taken to hospital. The Health and Safety Executive has been informed. Ambulance Service Responds

“We sent two ambulances, three paramedic officers, a BASICS emergency doctor, and the Midlands Air Ambulances from Cosford and Strensham to the scene. Sadly, despite best efforts, nothing could be done to save the teenage boy and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.” – West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson
