Teen Nabbed in Nottingham with Replica Gun After Dawn Scooter Theft

Fast Police Response Nets Suspect

Nottingham cops swooped early Monday after an electric scooter was reported stolen. At around 2:45am in St Peters Square, city centre, officers spotted a 15-year-old boy acting suspiciously.

Fake Firearm Found in Waistband

Police found what looked like a firearm tucked in the boy’s waistband. A closer check revealed it was a BB gun – an imitation weapon. The teen was promptly arrested on suspicion of carrying an imitation firearm in public and theft.
