Couple in Their 70s Found Dead in Tunbridge Wells Home
Tragedy struck Tunbridge Wells last night as a man and woman in their seventies were found dead inside their Langton Road home. Kent Police were called to the scene at 9:15pm on Wednesday, December 8.
Emergency Crews Rush to Major Tunbridge Wells Road
Kent Fire and Rescue Service, along with South East Coast Ambulance Service crews, responded swiftly to the property on Langton Road, a key route into the town. Despite their efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deaths Treated as Unexplained but Non-Suspicious
A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed:
“We were called at 9.15pm yesterday to a property in Langton Road, Tunbridge Wells. Ambulance and fire crews attended, and a man and woman in their 70s were pronounced dead at the scene.”
The deaths remain non-suspicious but unexplained. Police have notified the families and are conducting further investigations.
Search Teams Scour the Scene
Large teams of specialist officers have been working throughout the morning at the property. Kent Fire and Rescue sent two engines and left the scene shortly after 11:20pm.
