BMW Carjacking Chaos in Birmingham – Two Arrested
West Midlands Police swooped quickly after a brazen carjacking in Birmingham’s Harborne area early this morning, December 9.
Assault and Theft on Metchley Lane
At around 1:45am, a BMW convertible was ripped from its owners after a man and woman were assaulted. Police raced to the scene and soon forced the stolen car to a stop nearby.
Suspects Nabbed, Victims Escape Serious Injury
- A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of robbery and taken to hospital for checks.
- A 38-year-old woman was also detained and is now in custody facing robbery charges.
- Both victims suffered no serious injuries during the terrifying ordeal.
