Man Stabbed to Death in North West London – Friend ‘Accidentally Arrested’ Trying to Save Him

A 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed in North West London in the early hours of Sunday, October 30. In a tragic twist, a friend trying to save him was mistakenly arrested by police before being released without charge.

Chaos on Harrow Road After Brutal Stabbing

The stabbing happened just before 2 a.m. on Harrow Road, between Harrow and an area known as 1. Witnesses say the attack kicked off after a brawl outside Aura bar. The victim was stabbed multiple times after attending a party nearby.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and performed CPR for a prolonged period, but heartbreakingly, the man was pronounced dead shortly after.

Friend Arrested Then Released, Second Man Held

Police initially arrested two men — a 25-year-old and a 33-year-old — on suspicion of murder. The 25-year-old, who was a friend of the victim and reportedly tried to help him, was released without further action.

“The victim was my son’s friend. He was trying to save him when he was mistakenly arrested,” said the friend’s mother at the scene.

However, the 33-year-old remains in custody as the investigation continues. Police have yet to formally identify the victim.

A crime scene remains in place as forensic teams probe the stabbing. Officers urge anyone with information to come forward.
