Maidenhead Stabbing Shocker: Two Men Hurt in Early Morning Attack
Police are hunting witnesses after a violent stabbing in Maidenhead’s Blenheim Road area left two men injured in the early hours.
Knife-Wielding Gang Attacks Three Men
Between 3.45am and 4am, three men were confronted by up to eight black males near the junction with Victor Close. One attacker, described as average build with short dark hair and a grey hooded top, was carrying a knife.
A fight broke out, resulting in two men being stabbed. A 22-year-old suffered multiple wounds to his body and legs, while another man was slashed on the arm. The third victim had a minor cut on the back of his head from an earlier scuffle.
Victims Hospitalised, Investigation Underway
The seriously injured 22-year-old was rushed to hospital and remains in a stable condition. Police say his injuries aren’t thought to be life-threatening.
“This is a serious incident involving unknown suspects using serious violence,” said Detective Constable Will Holbrook of Maidenhead CID. “We believe the victims and offenders know each other, and there’s no wider risk to the local community.”
DC Holbrook urged anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward: “Although it happened early morning, someone out there will have seen something. Please call police on 101 quoting reference 43200285967.”
