Woman Falls from Multi-Storey Car Park in Wood Green: Two Seriously Injured
Emergency services raced to High Road, Wood Green, after a woman plummeted from a multi-storey car park at The Mall, North London. Shockingly, she landed on a pedestrian waiting at a nearby bus stop, causing injuries to both women.
Critical Injuries and Major Emergency Response
Police swiftly sealed off the area while paramedics worked frantically to save the two women. The London Air Ambulance and a specialist HART team from London Ambulance Service were also called in to assist.
Security staff from the shopping centre erected screens to shield the medical operation from onlookers.
Urgent Hospital Treatment and Ongoing Investigation
Police were alerted at 4.50pm on Wednesday, 12 April, by the London Ambulance Service following reports of a woman injured after a fall from height. A second woman also suffered injuries in the incident.
Both victims were rushed to hospital and remain in critical condition. Officers are currently investigating the circumstances and working to inform the next of kin. Meanwhile, road closures remain in effect on High Road.
