Teen Girls Stabbed in Linked Attacks on Croydon School Routes
South London detectives are hunting a violent attacker after two teenage girls were stabbed while walking to school in Croydon — just days apart.
First Victim Slashed in Leg
On Wednesday 4 November at 8:50am, police rushed to Moffat Road where a 15-year-old girl was found with a stab wound to her leg. She was treated at hospital and thankfully her injuries were not life-threatening.
Second Girl Attacked Two Days Later
Then, on Friday 6 November at 8:23am, another 15-year-old was stabbed in the arm on St Paul’s Road. Emergency services treated her on the spot before taking her to hospital. Again, her condition is stable and not life-threatening.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal
The two victims attend different schools and aren’t believed to know each other — but officers say the attacks share a worrying pattern.
Detective Inspector David Adams, South Area Command, said: “These attacks are almost identical in nature and I am confident that they are linked.
“We’ve released footage from a witness to help identify the suspect. Patrols have been stepped up at school start and finish times.
“Please get in touch if you have any information or concerns.”
