Man Stabbed to Death in Shocking Croydon Attack
The Met Police have launched a murder probe after a man was fatally stabbed and two others injured on Alpha Road, Croydon.
Fatal Stabbing Rocks Quiet Croydon Street
Police were called at around 9.10pm on Tuesday after reports of a stabbing. Despite desperate efforts by officers and paramedics, one man died instantly at the scene. Eyewitnesses say officers sprinted from their vehicles with first aid kits and an AED to save him.
Two Others Hospitalised
Two men turned up at a south London hospital with stab wounds, believed linked to the same brutal attack. Their conditions remain unknown as police continue their enquiries. No arrests have been made yet.
Large Crime Scene and Heartbreaking Scenes
Alpha Road is sealed off with the Met Police’s Tactical Support Group guarding the area. Relatives of those involved were seen breaking down in tears at the scene.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service. A man was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to trace his next of kin.”
