Five Shot in Shocking Plymouth Shooting Spree
A major incident has rocked Plymouth tonight as five people were shot in a violent rampage. Police have declared a major incident and urged residents to stay indoors for their safety.
Shooter Named as Jake Davison
The gunman, identified as Jake Davison, reportedly sparked the carnage after a domestic dispute escalated. He first shot his neighbour before roaming the streets, opening fire at random victims.
Tragically, up to five people lost their lives, including a young child and two women. A local man is currently in hospital fighting for his life.
Police Shoot Gunman Dead
The attacker was later shot dead by armed police officers after the brutal spree. Emergency services rushed to the scene, with multiple air ambulances and Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) deployed to Biddick Drive and surrounding areas.
Four air ambulances touched down in the North Prospect area, supported by swift medical teams and paramedics.
City on Lockdown as Authorities Respond

Southwest Ambulance Service confirmed: “We responded with multiple resources including air ambulances, HART teams, doctors, and senior paramedics.”
Local MP Luke Pollard urged calm: “Really troubling news from Keeham in Plymouth. Please stay safe, stay inside, and follow police instructions.”
