Construction Worker Trapped Under Collapsed Concrete Staircase in Hammersmith

Emergency services rushed to a Hammersmith Road construction site after a worker became trapped under a fallen concrete staircase.

Specialist Rescue Teams on Scene

Fire crews from the London Fire Brigade’s Specialist 1 teams were dispatched following a 10am call on Friday. Two fire engines, a fire rescue unit, and a command unit quickly arrived at the scene to assist with the rescue.

Joint Rescue Effort Underway

Firefighters are working alongside paramedics and the London Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to free the man from beneath the concrete wall. The cause of the collapse is currently under investigation.
