Tragedy in Morden: A 49-year-old man has died after a car crash with a pedestrian on Green Lane.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 6:51 PM on Monday, March 3. Despite their quick response and efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Launch Investigation

A Met Police spokesperson said:

“Police were called to a road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian in Green Lane, Morden, at 6.51pm on Monday, 3 March. Despite treatment by officers and the London Ambulance Service, the 49-year-old pedestrian was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made, and enquiries are ongoing. The road is now reopened.”

Authorities urge anyone with dashcam footage or information from the area at the time to come forward and assist the investigation.
