Appeal for Witnesses After Cyclist Dies in Matlaske Collision

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a cyclist died in a suspected hit-and-run incident in Matlaske this afternoon.

Incident Details

? Time: 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025
? Location: Blossom Hill, Matlaske
? Victim: Man in his 60s, found in serious condition
? Suspected Involvement of Another Vehicle
? Victim’s Direction of Travel: Towards Holt

Emergency services, including police and ambulance crews, responded to the scene, but sadly, the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ongoing Investigation

One of the key lines of enquiry is whether another vehicle was involved and failed to stop.
