A 48-year-old man, Kulvinder Ram, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after a violent stabbing incident in Dagenham, east London. The attack, which took place on October 25, left a woman in her 30s, an eight-year-old girl, and a two-year-old boy with stab wounds. All three victims were transported to a hospital for treatment, where their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.

Emergency services were called to First Avenue in Dagenham at approximately 5:35 pm on October 25. Upon arrival, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance provided immediate assistance, and the victims were taken to a nearby hospital. Police arrested Ram at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He was briefly hospitalized after feeling unwell but was later discharged and taken into custody.

Scotland Yard confirmed that all parties involved are believed to be known to each other, and no additional suspects are being sought. Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford described the event as a “truly shocking attack” and expressed appreciation to local residents for their support during the investigation.

A crime scene remains in place, and police presence in the area is expected to continue over the coming days. Authorities are urging anyone with further information about the incident to contact the police on 101.
