Kyle Clifford, the suspect in the horrific triple murder of three women in Bushey, remains in a serious condition in a London hospital and has yet to be questioned by police. Clifford, who was the target of an intensive manhunt, was located yesterday afternoon.
Clifford, hailing from Enfield, north London, is suspected of killing Carol, Hannah, and Louise Hunt – the wife and daughters of renowned BBC and Sky racing commentator John Hunt. The three women, aged 61, 28, and 25 respectively, were discovered with severe injuries at a property in Ashlyn Close, Bushey, Hertfordshire, just before 7 pm on Tuesday. Tragically, they succumbed to their injuries at the scene shortly after being found.
As part of the ongoing investigation, police have recovered a crossbow. Searches have also continued at a residence in Rendlesham Road, Enfield, on Thursday morning in connection to the deaths.
Members of the police staff, equipped with gloves and face masks, were observed outside the Enfield property, which was initially searched on Wednesday.
Acting on a tip, the authorities were able to locate Clifford and take him into custody, where he was then transported to the hospital for medical treatment. The details of his injuries and the circumstances surrounding his condition have not been disclosed.
Friends and community members are in shock, expressing their grief and mourning the loss of the Hunt family women. John Hunt has been inundated with messages of support from colleagues, friends, and the racing community.
