£1,000 Reward for Fugitive Wanted Over Heroin Conspiracy Bail Breach

Police are hunting Louis Makai, 46, who skipped bail after facing charges linked to a massive £12million heroin supply ring in Brighton and Hove.

Fugitive Broke Bail Conditions After Hung Jury

Makai, once from Portsmouth, was granted bail in May by Hove Crown Court following a hung jury in his 2015 drug trial. However, on August 3rd, a judge revoked his bail after he breached several conditions.

He now awaits a November retrial but remains on the run — prompting Sussex Police to up the ante with a £1,000 reward for info leading to his arrest and conviction.

Where Is Louis Makai Now?

Detective Sergeant Julian Deans said: “We believe Makai could be in the Lambeth area of London, Sussex, or Hampshire. Please get in touch if you spot him or know where he is.”

Makai is described as white, 5’10”, slim, with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
