Shoplifting Spree Ends as Man Busted for 23 Thefts in Eastbourne
Stephen Wood, 33, has been arrested and slapped with 23 counts of theft after a police hunt across Eastbourne and Wealden. The man, who has no fixed address, was caught on Monday, April 24, following multiple shoplifting offences.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Date
Wood is now in custody and will face Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 25.

Chief Inspector Di Lewis stressed the serious impact of business crime on local communities, both financially and emotionally. She said:
