15-Year-Old Charged with Terror Plot After Arrest in Cowes
A 15-year-old boy from Cowes was arrested earlier this week by Counter Terrorism Police and has now been charged with preparing an act of terrorism.

The teenager was taken into custody on Monday, 11th July, following a joint operation between Counter Terrorism Policing South East and Hampshire Constabulary. He was arrested under suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
Facing Court Tomorrow
The young suspect remains in custody and is set to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning. No further details about the alleged plot or the boy’s identity have been released.
