A teenage attacker has been locked up for six years and eight months after a brutal stabbing in Blackburn. He pleaded guilty to inflicting serious injuries and was slapped with an indefinite restraining order to keep him away from his victims.

The violent incident erupted around 11pm on October 30, 2019, on Ullswater Close. Police rushed to the scene and gave first aid to the victims before emergency services arrived.

Serious Injuries and Narrow Escape

  • The main victim suffered a 5cm stab wound to his abdomen.
  • Injuries to his liver and lungs were severe, with fluid building up around his heart.
  • The second victim escaped with only minor injuries.

Justice Served

The boy, who cannot be named due to legal restrictions, faces a lengthy jail term. The court also issued a lifelong restraining order to protect the victims from any future contact.
