Three Arrested After Shocking Euston Church Drive-By Shooting
Detectives have made three arrests following a terrifying drive-by shooting outside a church in Euston. One of the suspects, 19-year-old Alrico Nelson Martin from Kilburn, has been charged.
Gun Charges and Court Appearance
Martin was arrested on Tuesday, 14 March, and charged the following day with possession of a shotgun with intent to endanger life and six counts of conspiracy to wound with intent. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 15 March.
Alongside Martin, two other men aged 22 and 23 were also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. Both remain in police custody.
Victims and Investigation Update
The shooting happened on Phoenix Road, NW1, on Saturday, 14 January at 1:29 pm. Emergency services, including the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene.
- Six victims were treated: four women aged 48, 54, 41, and 21, plus two girls aged 11 and seven.
- Their injuries were serious but not life-threatening.
- The 48-year-old woman remains in hospital undergoing treatment.
A 22-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder the day after the incident but was later released on bail pending further inquiries.
