Man Charged After Hastings Stabbing Shocker

A 28-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following a stabbing incident in Hastings on 26 October.

Victim Survives Minor Stomach Wound

Police were called to Havelock Road where they found a 20-year-old woman with a minor stomach laceration. She was rushed to hospital, treated, and later released.

Suspects Arrested and Released on Bail

Sam Secord, unemployed, from Chapel Park Road, St Leonards, was arrested and charged. He appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on 30 October and was granted conditional bail. He is due back at Lewes Crown Court on 27 November.

Another 39-year-old man, arrested on multiple charges including grievous bodily harm, possession of Class B drugs, affray, knife possession, and common assault, has been released on conditional bail until 23 November.
