Tragic Attack: Dog Walker Killed in Shocking Multi-Dog Assault

Natasha Johnston Fatally Mauled While Walking Dogs

Natasha Johnston, 28, a professional dog walker, was horrifically attacked on January 12 while walking eight dogs in Caterham, Surrey. The usually routine stroll turned deadly when several dogs she was handling turned on her at Gravelly Hill.

Fatal Injuries and Aftermath

A post-mortem revealed Natasha died from shock and haemorrhage after her left jugular vein was perforated in the attack. Another woman nearby also suffered dog bites and required hospital treatment.

Police Close Case With No Charges

Surrey Police quickly seized all eight dogs involved and identified their owners, but confirmed last week no criminal charges will be pursued. Natasha was identified through dental records during a hearing at Surrey Coroner’s Court.

Inquest Delayed But Story Far From Over

The official inquest into Natasha Johnston’s death has been postponed and is now scheduled for June 29. Meanwhile, the dog-walking community is left shaken by this shocking incident.
