Serial Sex Pest Edwin Cuschieri Jailed for 10 Years
Edwin Cuschieri has been slammed with six charges, including rape, sexual assault, and indecent assault, after a long police probe. His vile attacks targeted women and children in Orkney from 1988 to 2016.
Decades of Abuse Uncovered
Cuschieri’s dark crimes spanned nearly three decades, leaving deep scars on his victims. Now, he’s locked up for a decade and slapped with a lifetime spot on the sex offenders register.
Detective Praises Victims’ Bravery
“Cuschieri is a serial abuser whose offending behaviour spans 28 years and will no doubt have left his victims deeply affected for the rest of their lives,” said Detective Chief Inspector Donald Macdonald.
“I want to thank the victims for their strength in coming forward and the courage they showed throughout the investigation. Their bravery led to Cuschieri’s conviction.
“I hope today’s verdict offers them some closure and sends a clear message: sexual abuse will not be tolerated and perpetrators will face the full force of the law.”
