Man Found with Serious Facial Injuries After Violent Late-Night Brawl
A man was discovered with severe facial injuries in Gravel Walk around 11pm on Sunday, 14 July 2024. Police quickly attended the scene, and the injured man was rushed to hospital. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.
Fight Erupts on High Street
Investigations revealed a violent fight broke out on the High Street, near Guildhall Street, between 10pm and 11pm that same evening. A 25-year-old man was reportedly stabbed multiple times during the fracas.
Police Release CCTV Images to Track Suspects
Officers have released a CCTV image of two men who might hold key information. Detective PC Victoria Minter said: “We appreciate the image is not of the best quality, but we hope it might jog someone’s memory.”
Alongside the two men pictured, police believe a man and woman in their 40s witnessed the attack but haven’t come forward yet.
