Drug Dealer Caught Red-Handed in Brighton Hire Car Stash
David Bakare, 28, was busted by police after being spotted in a hire car linked to heroin and crack cocaine supply in Brighton.
Suspicious Behaviour Gets Him Stopped
Specialist Enforcement Unit (SEU) officers stopped Bakare outside a property on Eastern Road, Brighton. They immediately noticed him clenching his buttocks, raising their suspicions.
A search of the vehicle uncovered illegal drugs, leading to his arrest on the spot.
Drugs Found Hidden on His Person
During custody checks, officers discovered Bakare had concealed wraps of drugs inside his body, heightening the case against him.
Already Under Investigation for Psychoactive Substance Supply
Bakare, resident of Tadema Road, Kensington, was already being investigated for supplying a psychoactive substance in Brighton after a previous arrest by Brighton Response officers.
Court Appearance and Prison Sentence
Following a probe by the Brighton Community Investigation Team (CIT), Bakare was charged with multiple offences.
At Lewes Crown Court on April 4, he admitted being involved in the supply of diamorphine (heroin), crack cocaine, and psychoactive substances.
He was jailed for four years and four months. No doubt, Brighton’s streets will breathe a little easier with him behind bars.
