Mass Car Meet Sparks Noise Chaos in Harlow

Hundreds of vehicles swarmed Queensgate Retail Park in Edinburgh Way, Harlow, causing serious disruption.

Noise and Anti-Social Behaviour Outrage

Locals raised alarms over excessive noise and unruly behaviour from the massive car gathering.

Dispersal Order Launched to Tackle Chaos

To protect residents and curb the disruption, authorities slapped a dispersal order across the entire town. It covers all retail parks and industrial sites.

The order was active between 2:15am and 6am on Sunday, 26 March, empowering officers to order anyone suspected of anti-social activity to leave the area immediately.

Police Crack Down as Action Begins

Several vehicles have already been reported by the Roads Policing Unit. Acting Inspector Matt Hughes blasted:

“This order is about protecting our residents from noise and disruption and we do not take decisions such as this lightly. Officers are now in the process of dispersing the meet. Where additional legal action is appropriate in dealing with this incident, it will be taken.”

The crackdown sends a clear message: Harlow won’t tolerate late-night car chaos.
