Andrew Gaskin covered his face with a ski mask as he broke into a family home in Armthorpe alongside Patrick Maughan, 38. Maughan was already serving an 18-year sentence for the savage aggravated burglary that rocked the community in March 2022.

Gaskin jailed for eight years
Gaskin, aged 29, was charged with aggravated burglary for his role in the bloody break-in. He pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court on 30 November 2023 and was sentenced to eight years behind bars. Both men are now locked up for their part in the horror home raid.
