Drug Dealer Jack Davis Jailed for Over Three Years After Police Bust
Jack Davis has been slammed with a hefty 3½-year prison sentence at Maidstone Crown Court. The 29-year-old was caught red-handed in a police stop that uncovered a cocaine supply network linked to multiple users.
Police Snatch 30 Bags of Cocaine in Vehicle Search
On 29 September 2018, officers stopped a car on London Road following reports of suspicious activity. Davis was a passenger when cops found 30 deal bags of cocaine stashed in the rear footwell. They also seized around £146 in cash and a small amount of cannabis.
Phone Evidence Nails Davis’ Role in Drug Dealing
Forensic tests ruled out other passengers’ involvement, while Davis’ DNA was found on 10 cocaine bags. Police also downloaded his phone, uncovering messages to customers and clear evidence of drug exchanges.
Detective Slams Repeat Offender & Dealers’ Devastation
Detective Constable Mark Beeching of West Kent CID said: “Davis is a repeat offender, undeterred by previous punishments and prison sentences. The suffering and devastation dealers like him cause to individuals, families and communities is far reaching. Thankfully, the courts have passed a significant sentence reflecting the seriousness and impact of this crime.”
Davis, from Pell Green, Wadhurst, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of cannabis. He was sentenced on 26 March 2021 and is now behind bars.
