Drug Dealer Caught with £16,000 of Heroin and Crack in Canterbury Home
Stephen Baillie Nabbed in Police Raid
Stephen Baillie, 29, was busted after Kent Police swooped on his Canterbury house in Tennyson Avenue. Officers found a stash worth over £16,000, including more than 500 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine hidden all over the property.
Massive Drug Haul Unearthed
- 300 wraps of heroin (£4,000 street value)
- 200 wraps of crack cocaine (£3,000 street value)
- Large quantities of uncut drugs worth around £9,000
The drugs were cleverly concealed—in a bedroom vase and the living room. Baillie claimed he was just “holding them for someone else.”
Damning Phone Messages Seal Baillie’s Fate
Police cracked Baillie’s phone and uncovered texts arranging deals, including offers of “3 for £20.” This digital evidence proved he was running a drug supply operation in the community.
Detective Constable Gareth Foreman said: “Baillie’s drugs fuelled criminal behaviour and anti-social trouble in our community. Kent Police won’t tolerate this, and his jail sentence is a clear warning to dealers.”
Jailed for Over Three Years
Baillie pled guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin at Canterbury Crown Court on 8 June 2020. On 6 July, he was sentenced to three years and four months behind bars.
