Spirit thieves hit Sainsbury’s and Waitrose stores in Kent, pinched around 50 bottles between mid-October and early December.
Boozy Burglars Strike in Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Kings Hill
From 15 October to 6 December 2023, suspects acted alone or as a duo to swipe spirits from Sainsbury’s shops in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, plus a Waitrose in Kings Hill. The haul? A whopping 50 bottles of booze.
Couple Nabbed and Charged with Multiple Thefts
Mirela Durac, 33, from Plaistow High Street, London, was arrested on 6 December and slapped with five theft charges. Her partner, Leonard-Marius Durac, 34, caught the same day, faces two counts of theft.
Next Stop: Maidstone Magistrates’ Court
Both are out on bail and due in court on Wednesday 3 January 2024 to face the music.
