Man Charged After Shocking Crawley Stabbing

A 58-year-old man has been charged following a brutal stabbing in Crawley on Friday night.

Stabbing Shakes Quiet Crawley Neighbourhood

Police were called to a property in Oatlands just after 6.30pm on August 28. The victim, a man in his 70s, was rushed to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Suspect Held on Serious Charges

Andrew Spilling, unemployed and from Hawkesmoor Road, Crawley, faces charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a Class B drug. He’s currently in custody and due in Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, August 31.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
