Michael McDonagh, 32, from Henleaze Road, Bristol, faces attempted murder charges following a violent incident at Southwick Sports and Social Club. The assault happened on Wednesday night, 29 September.

Arrest and Court Appearance

McDonagh was arrested on Friday, 1 October, and charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon, and assault causing actual bodily harm. He is set to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court today, 4 October.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was hospitalised but has now been discharged. Police continue their investigation into the shocking attack.
