Police rushed to the scene around 7pm following reports of a crash. Witnesses said Harbatowski was weaving on the wrong side of the road for nearly a mile before the collision.
“Harbatowski was seen driving dangerously prior to the crash, endangering lives,” said Detective Constable Phil Haffenden of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit. “This incident has had a devastating effect on the rider and his family.”
