Family Outing Turns Nightmarish
On June 18, 2021, Carnegie was with his family in the New Forest. After a drinking session, when his sister tried to drive him home, Carnegie suddenly jumped out of the car and fled into the forest.
Home Invasion and Assault
Carnegie broke into a home in Lyndhurst, targeting a couple in their 50s. He assaulted the homeowners and stole their vehicle keys.
Police Crack Down on Repeat Burglar
PSI Stephen Hortin from Operation Hawk said:
“Carnegie made all sorts of threats and claims to the victims, causing them to be utterly terrified. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary will not stand by and allow that to happen. This is Carnegie’s third conviction for a dwelling burglary and he is now where he deserves to be.”
