Fugitive Grandpa Found Guilty of Threatening MPs
Donald Wood, 84, has been convicted in his absence for sending threatening letters to three MPs. The Sheffield Crown Court jury found him guilty on 25 February of offences under the Malicious Communications Act 1988.
Vanished Before Trial, Believed in Morocco
Wood skipped his trial, failing to appear in court. Authorities believe he fled to Morocco. A warrant was issued for his arrest on 21 February, and police are actively searching for him.

The letters were sent between 23 and 27 March 2019, containing threatening messages.
