Taxi Boss Murdered in Revenge Attack: Plotter Caught
Akeel Hussain played a key role in the brutal killing of taxi firm manager Mohammed Haroon Zeb, aka Haroon, in a deadly family feud. Haroon, 39, was shot in the head outside his home in Queens Cross in the early hours of 31 January 2021. Despite being rushed to hospital, he died later that day.
Evidence Points to Hussain’s Dark Role
Police pieced together phone records and social media messages to nail Hussain’s involvement in the carefully planned hit. Just weeks earlier, Hussain himself had been injured after being hit by a car.
Two men caught firing from a Volkswagen Golf with false plates were convicted of murder and handed a combined 60-year jail term earlier this year.
