Man Found Dead on Side of Road in Suspicious Circumstances — Murder Probe Launched
Early Morning Tragedy in Harlington
Police were called to Sipson Lane, Harlington at 6:16am on Sunday, 31 October after a passing motorist spotted a man lying at the roadside.
Officers teamed up with London Ambulance Service paramedics but, despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead at 7am.
Murder Investigation Underway
The death is now being treated as suspicious. A full murder investigation has been launched.
While formal ID is pending, police believe the victim is 28-year-old Mohamed Muhiyidin from Southall, Ealing.
His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
“We do not yet know how Mohamed came to be injured at the roadside,” said Detective Inspector Melanie Pressley, from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command.
“There will be people who know what happened — we urgently need them to come forward. We also want to hear from anyone who knew Mohamed and might understand why someone would want to harm him.
“If you drove along Sipson Lane on Saturday or early Sunday morning, please check your dash cam footage for anything unusual.”
“A family is grieving after this terrible loss. We will pursue every lead to find who’s responsible, but the public’s help is vital.”
