Off-Duty Cop Arrested Over Alleged 2021 Lambeth Assault

PC Ireland Murdock, a member of the Central North Command Unit, was arrested on Tuesday, 11 January 2022, after an incident reported to have taken place on Saturday, 25 September 2021, in Lambeth – while he was off duty.

Court Date Set Amid Serious Allegations

Murdock is due to appear at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 29 April. The case has prompted serious investigations by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards and the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
