Drug Dealer Jailed After Crackdown in Stafford
Simon McGuirk, aka Simon Vella, 51, has been locked up for three years at Stafford Crown Court. He pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with intent to supply. The drama unfolded early morning on 26 September 2019 when police raided his Stone Road home at 7:40am.
Drugs, Cash, Phones Found in Police Warrant
Officers arrested McGuirk on the spot. A thorough search uncovered a stash of Class A drugs, mobile phones, cash, and drug paraphernalia. The haul included crack cocaine, fifteen small heroin packages, amphetamines, cannabis plants, and resin—worth nearly £500.

“These drugs were for supply and not just personal use,” said Sergeant Tom Fotherby of Stafford Neighbourhood Policing Team. “We welcome information about drug dealing in our communities and will continue to bring offenders before the courts.”
