Shpendi Hakili Faces Court
Shpendi Hakili, 38, from Glasgow, was charged on Saturday 18 March 2023. He appeared before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court the same day.
Deadly Attack in Strood
The charge stems from a violent assault on the morning of Sunday 20 November 2022. A man was attacked near Cuxton Road, Strood, and sadly died later.
Serious Crime Investigation Underway
- Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate launched a probe.
- A 45-year-old man was arrested two days after the incident but released without charge.
Next Court Appearance Scheduled
Hakili was remanded in custody and is set to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on Monday 17 April.
